Sue Rogers, Former Head of Information Technology at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford:

Wylie Horn was an outstanding colleague when I worked with him at Saïd Business School, the University of Oxford as Head of Information Technology. During that time Dr. Horn was the Section Manager of the Network Systems Management Service of Oxford University Computing Services.
Dr. Horn’s expertise includes enterprise architecture and security, big project management, data analytics, change management, mobile solutions, enterprise infrastructure operations as well as departmental leadership, staff recruiting and development, budget and financial management, and planning for future innovation. In our work together he was an invaluable partner in creating innovative web infrastructure to support software development using agile development techniques and open protocols and standards.

I highly recommend Dr. Horn for his vision, expertise in providing and managing complex systems, and his highly developed talents for working effectively with colleagues and clients.

Tony Brady, Director, Sealed Envelope:

Green Corrie Consultants were fantastic in bringing a wealth of experience, an organised common sense approach, and many useful contacts in IT to help us navigate a complex security project. I recommend them highly.

Dr John MacDonald, Director of the Scottish Global Forum and Editor of CABLE magazine.

At the suggestion of a trusted colleague, I approached Green Corrie Consultants to oversee the construction and design of a new website for an online international affairs magazine. This proved to be a wise move indeed.
From the very start of the project, Green Corrie Consultants (GCC) gave our team clear and intelligent advice about what platforms and designs would serve our needs, within budget.  GCC’s Director, Dr Wylie Horn, proved to be a helpful and patient guide in this process, drawing upon his considerable experience to point out the various advantages and pitfalls in each of the options we considered.
Having agreed a platform, GCC worked effectively to bring the project to fruition. Despite the hugely challenging timeline we were working to, all of the various deadlines were met. All along, our team were kept informed on progress.
GCC have a comprehensive understanding of the technical underpinnings of website hosting, configuration, and security. They are also have extensive experience of the WordPress platform. They assisted greatly in the design of the website, in designing the editorial process, and with the pre-launch article preparation. They also advised Cable magazine on image selection and image rights. They possess a very pleasing ability to bring new users up to speed on the various administrative and editorial tasks required to run a website on WordPress. GCC also introduced our team to various communication strategies, along with the use of key platforms such as MailChimp. They also introduced us to Google Analytics and SEO optimisation. Looking back on this project, I cannot recommend GCC highly enough. We now have an extremely attractive website which does exactly what we require it to do. Beyond providing technical expertise, GCC are innovative and attentive, inspiring a sense of trust in their clients. As Director of the Scottish Global Forum, I am delighted that Green Corrie Consultants will continue to work with us as technical consultants, thus ensuring that our web needs are met in the future.
